About BJJ Radar
Welcome to BJJ Radar, a platform created to simplify the life of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners by providing a centralized place to find and explore competitions. As a passionate competitor, I've experienced how frustrating and time-consuming it can be to search for tournaments across multiple websites. That's why I built BJJ Radar—to save you time and let you focus on what really matters: training and competing.
BJJ Radar at a Glance
- Free: checking tournaments on BJJ Radar costs nothing and needs no account or sign-up.
- What it lists: upcoming Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling tournaments worldwide, filterable by federation, country, US state and distance from you. It doesn't list gyms or open mats.
- Federations covered: Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro (AJP), Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC), Grappling Industries (GI), International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF), Jiu-Jitsu World League (JJWL), North American Grappling Association (NAGA), Professional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (PBJJF), Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), plus hundreds of smaller organizers that run their events on Smoothcomp.
- Updates: events are collected from the federations' own websites twice a day.
- Registration: BJJ Radar doesn't sell entries; each event links to the organizer's official registration page.
- Embed: gyms and websites can add the tournament table to their own pages for free from the embed page.
- Who runs it: Igor Zanella, a BJJ black belt and software developer, launched BJJ Radar in January 2025.
